Some of you may not know that I got married on May 4th! The entire experience was surreal… because I see so many weddings from behind a camera, it was bizarre to be the one in the spotlight, in the role of bride… but I have to say it truly was the best day of my life, and it could not have been more perfect. (More on that when we have the wedding photos to share with you.) For our honeymoon we decided on beautiful Cancun. We thought about going somewhere more adventurous, but having planned and executed most of our wedding celebrations ourselves, we decided that being in a place where everything was provided for us was exactly where we wanted to be. As you can see, it was pretty fantastic!

I don’t often get to shoot knowing that images will all be black and white, so when this client invited me to do so, I leapt at the opportunity. I love the everydayness of the images, and how effortless they feel.
